In like new condition. This recent reprint is the fourth book of Spearman's series. Written in 1903, it followed The Nerve of Foley (1900), Held for Orders (1901), and other stories. It has a railroad setting as did his earlier works. A great book for those who like the turn of the century west.

1951 Popular Library paperback. This is NOT ex-library; from a private collection & in nice shape. No tears or creases on spine. Binding tight. Slight spine slant. Back cover has handling smudges; front is VG with bright colors & almost no rubbing. Front also has an half-inch crease--it's tiny & barely noticeable unless you look hard. Green edges faded. Pages foxed but clean, very readable. Nice collectible pulp western. [2932a]

1921 Saalfield hb. Contains the following novels in one volume: "Grace Harlowe's Overland Riders on the Great American Desert"; "...In Yellowstone National Park"; "...Among the Border Guerrillas"; & "...On the Lost River Trail." No DJ. Red cover w/ black design on front. Cover is rubbed & soiled but lettering still crisp; edge/corner wear, small tear in cloth at top of spine but the binding beneath is unaffected. Text tanned but still readable. Front flyleaf page is torn but remaining pages in good shape, no writing. Hinges worn but sturdy, tight binding. Four small 'bookworm holes', mostly at top edge. Solid vintage hardback, very scarce in this format. [16a]
