**1898 HARDBACK from Macoy Publishing & Masonic Supply Co.** Very scarce. No DJ (as issued?). Blue buckram w/ faded gold lettering on front. Spine lettering has worn completely away; boards bumped & fraying at extremities. **NOTE: the text block has broken completely away from the cover boards.* This one could use a lot of TLC at the bindery, but it's still in readable condition as-is. First couple signatures are loose but not broken away; remaining pages are intact, but the binding itself is very fragile & should be handled gently. All the frontispiece plates are intact so far as I can tell. PO name inked inside front but no other marks; clean pages w/ light foxing, text still crisp. Ships carefully packed & insured. [29a]
