Old paperback pamphlet edition. Copyright date listed as 1897. Pages are brittle. Stapled binding with those old-fashioned thick metal staples, so it's a bit fragile. Title page is loose. No writing I could find; interior tanning, some corner wear. A small stain on bottom edge of exterior. Possible first edition. Still works as a reading copy, just needs gentle handling.

**This is a REVISED edition, not the original.** I'm not sure of the date, but it looks like sometime in 1970s. Subtitled "A pictorial survey of 6000 years of human history through man's past, present, & future." From the foreword: "This small book is a reprint of an earlier one containing the message of that remarkable presentation. Very few changes have been required to make its words as true & relevant today as they were...The present publishers have been careful to change none of the author's original concepts...Much of the art and pictures in this edition has been changed, however, to enhance its message with a graphic background as fitting to our time. Some of the original art has been retained to capture the flavor of the original." DJ shows edgewear & scuffing, also several small tears. Book itself in VG condition; no marks, tears, or bends. Binding tight. Lots of color photos & illustrations. Oblong book, app. 11x8 inches in size.
