New York Minton, Balch & Co. 1926 Hardcover Used: Acceptable Hardcover
Rare. No DJ. Exterior has typical age wear--scuffs & fraying to cover boards & edges, bumping to corners, etc. Gold stamp on front & spine is bright. Wear along spine edges. There is a one-inch tear at the bottom of the spine cloth but the overall spine integrity is unaffected. Binding loose but pages seem secure. Light foxing inside, but the colors are still bright. Inscription on front flyleaf is dated February 2, 1927. From the back page: "This edition of Blake's 'Songs of Innocence' is reproduced from a copy in the British Museum, has been printed and made in Great Britain, and was first published in the year 1926 by Minton, Balch & Co., of New York."
