Stevens World Wonderful and Book of the Times
M.A. Donohue & Company 1910 Hardcover Used: Acceptable Hardcover
1910 hardback from Donohue & Co. No DJ as issued; printed boards, khaki buckram w/ black design & gold lettering. **Cover has broken off binding.** Front board still attached by a few threads, but for all practical purposes the text block is separated from the cover. Typical rubbing & soiling for a book this old; also a three-inch tear in the buckram along back spine hinge. Some red stains at extremities of rear board. Despite the broken cover, the pages are all solidly sewn together. Paper antiqued but no marks in text, no tears, all plates intact, original flyleaf papers present. Overall the book is very readable but not pretty--needs a forgiving owner or some TLC at the bindery. [1342a]
